2. Product & Service Description

2.1 Product Range

We offer a carefully curated selection, including:

• Live Plants: A-Z Houseplants, Perennials, Shrubs, Bamboos & Grasses, Bonsai, Climbers, Conifers, and more. These are living, perishable items.
• Gardening Tools: Cutting tools, digging tools, and other essentials.
• Garden Features & Outdoor Living: Barbecues, firebowls, eco-friendly pots, and camping essentials.

We strive for accurate descriptions and imagery. However, slight natural variations in plant size, colour, and form may occur. Tool specifications are subject to manufacturers’ updates.

2.2 Service Area

We deliver to gardeners across the globe, excluding Asia and certain remote regions due to logistical and phytosanitary constraints. You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address is within our service area at the time of order.

3. Orders & Payment Terms

3.1 Placing an Order

Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it. A contract between us is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, including for stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

3.2 Pricing & Payment

Prices are in British Pounds (£). We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is taken at the point of order. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours or that you have authorisation to use it.

User Responsibility: You must provide accurate and complete billing and shipping information. Incorrect details may lead to delivery delays or additional charges.

3.3 Shipping & Delivery

• Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.
• Methods:
  • Standard Shipping (£12.95): Via DHL/FedEx. Estimated delivery 10-15 business days post-dispatch.
  • Free Shipping (Orders over £50): Via EMS. Estimated delivery 15-25 business days post-dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates. Delays may occur due to customs, weather, or carrier issues. You are responsible for any local taxes, duties, or customs charges incurred upon import.

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

4.1 Eligibility

Most non-living items can be returned within 15 days of receipt if unused, in original condition and packaging.

4.2 Process

You must contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Returns Authorisation (RA) number before sending anything back. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

User Obligation: You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning non-faulty items. We recommend using a trackable service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is the property of Longacres Shop or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

We supply products for domestic, private use. We are liable to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms or negligence. However, we are not liable for:

• Loss or damage after delivery, where you are responsible for the care of live plants.
• Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, loss of opportunity).
• Events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
• Any failure to comply with local import laws, which is the customer’s responsibility.

Our total liability to you for any order shall not exceed the total value of that order.

6.2 Your Responsibility

You agree to use products, especially tools and outdoor living items like barbecues and firebowls, safely and in accordance with any manufacturer’s instructions. You are responsible for ensuring any plant is suitable for your local climate and environment.

7. General Provisions

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms: We may update these terms periodically. The version published on our website at the time of your order is the version that applies.

Severability: If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the remainder will continue in full force.
